Embark on a powerful 2-day motorbike loop from Hue, diving deep into the history and breathtaking landscapes of Central Vietnam.
Day 1 takes you off the beaten path, beginning with a climb over Ma Oi Pass and a refreshing swim at Mau Waterfall. We make a meaningful cultural stop to interact with the Van Kieu ethnic minority before dedicating the afternoon to riding the legendary, scenic, and rugged Ho Chi Minh Trail. We trace the wartime route through the mountains, visiting remote villages before reaching the historic Khe Sanh Combat Base.
Day 2 focuses on the poignant history of the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), following Highway 9 past iconic sites like the Dakrong Bridge and the Rock Pile. The emotional highlight is exploring the incredible Vinh Moc Tunnels, an entire village that lived underground to survive the war. After a relaxing seaside lunch and swim at Cua Tung Beach, we conclude with a beautiful coastal ride back to Hue, winding through vibrant rice fields and friendly local villages.
Start by ascending Highway 49 to Ma Oi Pass (Oh Mom). Stop for a refreshing swim at Mau Waterfall. Visit a Van Kieu ethnic minority village to see traditional handicraft sewing. Lunch in A-luoi Town. Spend the entire afternoon riding the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail (scenic and off-road sections) through mountains and visiting local ethnic minority villages. Conclude the day with a visit to the historic Khe Sanh Combat Base before checking into your hotel in Khe Sanh.
Ride East along Highway 9, passing significant Vietnam War sites: Dakrong Bridge, the Rock Pile, and Doc Mieu Base. Cross into the former DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). Explore the incredible underground survival network of the Vinh Moc Tunnels. Lunch and a swim break at Cua Tung Beach. The afternoon ride follows the scenic coastline countryside, winding through vast rice fields and farms, with a stop in a small village to meet local people before arriving back in Hue.
