The Rockpile Hill: Stop for photos and admire this striking tactical peak from Highway 9. From 1966 to 1968, the US military used this hill as a vital watchtower to monitor North Vietnamese Army movements.
Dakrong Bridge & The Ho Chi Minh Trail: We visit the iconic bridge that marks the starting point of Highway 15—a major artery of the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail leading south toward the A Shau Valley and the infamous “Hamburger Hill”.
