Experience the ultimate 3-day motorbike adventure from Phong Nha to Hoi An, a journey that masterfully blends history, stunning landscapes, and authentic Vietnamese culture.

Day 1 kicks off with a privileged ride on the remote West Ho Chi Minh Trail (230 km), winding through majestic limestone karsts and old-growth jungle. We’ll meet the local Van Kieu ethnic minority and visit scenic coffee plantations near Khe Sanh.

Day 2 is a deep dive into history, tracing the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) along Highway 9. You’ll visit iconic Vietnam War sites like the Dakrong Bridge, the Rock Pile, and the poignant Truong Son National Cemetery. The highlight is exploring the incredible Vinh Moc Tunnels, where entire communities lived underground. Unlike other tours, we take scenic backroads into Hue, passing colorful tombs and peaceful rice paddies.

Day 3 is all about culture and coastal beauty, starting with a visit to the historic Thanh Toan Bridge and local farming villages. The grand finale is the legendary ride over the Hai Van Pass, offering breathtaking panoramic views before arriving in the charming town of Hoi An

Itinerary

Day 1: Phong Nha to Khe Sanh via Ho Chi Minh Trail

This ride is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. With a permit from the authorities we're able to drive to the remote West Ho Chi Minh trail following through majestic limestone Karsts (unique limestone formations) and spectacular old-growth jungle. This road follows the original Ho Chi Minh trail through some of the most rugged terrain in Viet Nam. We'll stop at the Van Kieu ethnic village to meet some locals and see how they live - your local guide can provide interpretation with locals that you encounter. We cover 160km on the motorbike and you'll experience amazing scenery the whole way. We'll stop for a picnic lunch near a spring before continuing on in the afternoon to Khe Sanh to visit the coffee plantations before arriving at the town of Khe Sanh around 4:30pm.

Day 2: Khe Sanh to Hue via DMZ Quang Tri

The motorbike ride to Hue today is most from West to East we'll ride along highway 9 .On this ride we'll pass famous historical Vietnam war sites such as Dakrong bridge, Rock Pile. We'll visit Truong Son national cemetery one of the biggest soldier cemetery of Vietnam war, after paying respect the soldier who die for this country we keep going on along Ben Hai river bank (this river was the border between North and South Viet Nam from 1954 to 1975). We stop at Hien Luong bridge where used to be a DMZ area We'll then enjoy our Vietnamese lunch at Vinh Moc tunnel and have a chance to visit the incredible underground tunnel network  where the whole villagers lived underground for 7 years to escape the American bombing. This will be an unforgettable experience for your travel to Vietnam in the afternoon, different from other companies will take you back highway to Hue and finish tour soon, we'll ride follow small back roads to Hue. This road trip also one of our favorite to ride, the scenery is so different from Ho Chi Minh trail road. You'll be able to ride through tons of rice paddies, thousands colorfully-painted tombs, buffalo and cows You'll keep riding along the coast road, crossing Tam Giang lagoon where our guide will show you a beautiful and peaceful fishing village near by the lagoon before you drive through ancient town to your hotel in Hue

Day 3: Hue to Hoi An via Hai Van pass

Not like other Motorbike Tour companies, Hue Easy Rider is the one who use mainly your time on the backroads from Hue to Hoi An In the Morning after having local breakfast and Vietnamese coffee . We'll drive to Thanh Toan bridge (Japanese bridge) which was built in 1776 to connect between two small villages. At this place our guide will show you local market and Farm Museum that you can learn more about Vietnam culture and tradition We'll then driving through small road passing many agriculture villages , stopping at mushrooms villages to learn how the local make mudroom from rice-straw. we also visit The city of Ghost in Vinh Hien Village (An Bang Cemetery) where you'll thousand of huge tombs that you never ever see anywhere around the world.

At noon time we'll stop at beautiful and quiet beach for lunch before you reach to Hai Van Pass where you can see from the top of the pass amazing view we arrive in Hoi An around 4:00 pm and hard to say goodbye to you after 3 great days together
